Kiewit Pacific Co. constructed both the $7.8 million Hickam Air Force Base Dormitory and the $5.2 million Hickam Hanger Complex for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The dormitory is a three-story, 38,300-sq.-ft. building to house enlisted military personnel. Construction of the hangar involved upgrading the fire alarm and sprinkler systems for Hangars 34 and 35.
The Creighton Prep Heider Center includes a three-court gymnasium that seats 2,200 students. It also has a 2,500-square-foot weight room facility, three state-of-the-art technology classrooms and a baseball stadium with concourse, concrete seating areas, a press box and maintenance facility.
The Clayton Foundation awarded Kiewit Building Group Inc. to design-assist the construction of a 32,000-square-foot child development center and the renovation of a 4,400-square-foot powerhouse. The completed Clayton Educare facility consists of two facilities equipped with classrooms and administrative offices to provide underprivileged children and their parents a place to develop a solid foundation for future learning.
