Prior to the construction of their new headquarters complex, TD Ameritrade housed their employees in five locations spread throughout Omaha. Their new 535,000-square-foot headquarters consolidates more than 2,000 employees into one of the largest LEED Platinum buildings in the nation.
The Newport News Federal Courthouse is a 35,000 square foot, LEED Silver certified facility. The interior structural, security and utility work included the construction of courtrooms, jury rooms and judges' chambers on the upper two floors, office areas for administrative and security personnel, and a two-story lobby with sitting areas and restrooms.
The Trump International Hotel is a 350-foot tower with approximately 460 luxury hotel condominium units ranging from approximately 500 to 3,000 square feet. The 38-story building consists of approximately 775,000 gross square feet and has four stories of parking and 6,500 square feet of dining and retail space.
Constructed for Aksarben Future Trust and designed by DLR Group, this parking structure was completed in 2008 as part of the Aksarben Village Infrastructure project. The parking garage contains 650 stalls and is a precast concrete structure.
The Cobra Castor Living Quarters project is a 9,500 square feet structure built to accommodate 15 workers and includes administrative, dining and rest areas.
In May of 2010, as part of the IOC's expansion program, Construction Kiewit Cie, a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation, was awarded the contract to provide concrete construction and roadway services for Iron Ore Company's Labrador Mine new Parallel Ore Delivery System (PODS).
Kiewit demolished the existing garage and built a new precast fully enclosed seven-level, 251 stall garage. The garage is mechanically ventilated and fully sprinkled. The existing loading dock and maintenance garage were re-used and incorporated into the design.
The Legends Toyota project is a new 36,000 square foot retail and office facility along with a new 495 stall parking and car display lot for Performance Auto Group.
The Nebraska Furniture Mart Distribution Center is a state-of-the-art warehouse/distribution center with a high speed racking system that allows employees to fill 600 customer orders an hour. This project enclosed 511,000 square feet - approximately 12 acres under one roof.
